The PWA blood bank has made remarkable progress over the past twenty-five years. In the early days our output was two pints of blood per day which rose over the years to 200 pints. Insha Allah in the future we hope to cater about 300 patients per day.

With the increasing demand of blood and its components, we are anxious to renovate and blood bank and its services.

The aims and objectives of renovation project are:

To fulfill the ever increasing number of requests.

To provide separate Registration, Input and Output counters.

To provide a larger waiting Area to accommodate more people.

To provide a spacious and more hygienic Blood Donation Area with 12 beds.

To provide separate rooms for the new Cryofuge, Blood Fractionating Unit and Screening equipments.

To provide a large Cross Matching Area.

To computerize the Blood Bank for efficient working.

The cost of this project is around 12 millions. We have made great success in the past year in generating the cost of this project, but still we need your generous contributions towards this project so that we are able to complete it on time and purchase necessary equipments for the newly renovated Blood Bank.
