Since the establishment of Patients’ Welfare Association in 1979, it has come a long way to niche a place for itself among the leading welfare organizations in the country.

The Department of Media Communications was established with the view of giving an insight about PWA's working to the general public at large, by utilizing various electronic, print and social media outlets.

The main aim of the department is to provide maximum exposure of the organization to the general masses so that people become aware of the activities carried out at PWA and the difficulties that are faced due to lack of funds.

The activities are publicized through advertisements in leading newspapers for Zakat and donations, by placement of billboards and roadside banners in various localities of the city and through shows on radio and television channels.

The department also looks after the media management of events like the Annual Bake sale, Annual General Body Meeting and various seminars and campaigns that take place round the year.
