PWA Blood Bank provides cross matched and completely screened blood on exchange basis round the clock, completely free of cost; not only to underprivileged patients of Civil Hospital Karachi but also to people from all over the city. On an average, nearly 250 pints of blood is requested every day.

In order to meet with the rising demands of quality assured free of cost blood, PWA has launched Sponsor a Blood Bag Campaign. The campaign aims not only at raising funds to compensate for the rising expenditure of the Blood Bank, but also at creating awareness among masses to promote humanitarian values within the civil society. By sponsoring a Blood Bag of Rs.350 which is even less than one rupee a day for a year, you can make the difference in someone’s precious life.
