On 10th April 2010, PWA highlighted its services regarding blood transfusion, screening and provision of safe and healthy blood, in the seminar organized by the Hepatitis Advisory board at Jinnah post graduate medical center.

Well known speakers, N.G.O representatives and members of the Hepatitis Advisory Board discussed the strategies for hepatitis control in Pakistan, improved disinfecting techniques, screening advancement and safe blood transfusion in the seminar.

PWA representatives participated in the discussion and highlighted their efforts for safe blood banking with their aim of advancing their services such as switching from ELISA to CMIA technology for better and precise results and furthermore playing their part to make a hepatitis free society.
